What is Libertarian Socialism

Is there such a beast as a libertarian socialist.  I don't know but if there isn't, there should be.

What are the tenets of libertarian socialism.  Lots of skepticism about bureaucratic authority but also a fundamental belief that wealth and income should be somewhat equally distributed.  Contradictory ideas?  Perhaps but it is necessary for people who call themselves socialists to get over the religious belief that the the role of governmnet and the bureaucracy is always positive. Rules and regulations need to be carefully analyzed to determine if they make life better for the average person.  Often they don't.
